HR Credit Sessions

  • Sessions must relate directly to the PHR & SPHR Body of Knowledge and SHRM HR Competencies as it is our intention that all meetings receive HR Certification Institute HR or Business recertification credits and SHRM Professional Development Credits.
  • Sessions should be 60 minutes in length.
  • Speakers are expected to honor our commitment to provide education by not showcasing or promoting the speaker's practice, services or products.  Note that speakers can also be a business partner at a chapter meeting, but the presentation should be separate from the partnership.

Master Series "Deeper Dive" Sessions

Each quarter, Master Series or "Deeper Dive" Sessions are offered to the membership to provide content on Business. To be considered a Master Series, sessions must be 2 hours in length and eligible for Business credit with the HR Certification Institute in addition to SHRM Professional Development Credit. Please refer to HR Certification Institute’s Business Credits: All you need to know document and the SHRM Competency Model for more details.

Presenters who would like to share their areas of expertise or interest will need to complete the Speaker Proposal Packet and submit to the VP, Programs. We plan our meetings well in advance so please provide us with dates you are available to speak. Monthly Chapter meetings are typically held the first Thursday of the month.

All requests received will be considered and answered within 7 days of receipt. Special consideration is given to programs that have been pre-approved for HRCI and SHRM recertification credit.
