  • Develop a workforce that has the skills, competencies and behaviors in order to succeed in today's and tomorrow's workplace.
  • Provide tools that maximize the potential of today and tomorrow's workforce by helping individuals to develop their skills to become more competitive in our local and global economy.
  • Achieve balance between organizational fit and diversity through information and education.

May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month

May is Older Americans Month

Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads our nation’s observance of Older Americans Month.

Make Your Mark
This theme was selected to encourage and celebrate countless contributions that older adults make to our communities. Their time, experience, and talents benefit family, peers, and neighbors every day. Communities, organizations, and individuals of all ages are also making their marks. This year’s theme highlights the difference everyone can make – in the lives of older adults, in support of caregivers, and to strengthen communities.

We invite you to celebrate Older Americans Month and make your mark in May! Leading up to the observance, this website will be updated with artwork, activity suggestions, and other materials to use online and at your events. Don't forget to share your #OAM2020 plans, stories, & events on social media..
