This two-hour session will cover the changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act and the exemption changes that may affect your payroll budget for 2016 and beyond. If you have exempt employees and are considering the shift back to hourly, then you need to know how to make these changes and communicate accordingly. There are many factors to consider on this one - it's best to be prepared!


We will also cover the Portal to Portal Act and the implications to your budget that you may not be aware.


If you have Independent Contractors instead of Employees, you need to confirm they are truly "Independent." Who Cares?, you may ask and the answer is -- The Department of Labor!  This is one of the common mistakes  that employers make on a regular basis.
