Measure What Matters: The Ultimate Cheat Sheet On HR Metrics

Topic(s):  Leadership & Navigation, Consultation, HR & Business Strategy, Business Acumen

Program Description

Most HR measurements are data points and aren't used to tell a story that helps business leaders understand their investments in people and people processes.   Attendees learn how to collaborate with business executives, managers and staff to determine how to design measurement processes that predict outcomes.

Key learning objectives:

  • How to determine the right KPI’s based upon the business strategy.
  • How to gain support from executives for developing and implementing new measures that close the performance gap.
  • Identify how to use measurements to build a high performance inclusive workplace.
  • Review two case studies as learning tools.

Certification Information:

This activity has been submitted for two (2) Professional Development Credits (PDCs) by SHRM and two (2) Business (Strategic) credits with the HR Certification Institute.

About the Speaker

Denise Cooper is a business coach for people who hate people issues but love getting things done. Through her speaking performances, blogs, podcasts and on-demand classes she’s here to show you how to feel more valued, overcome those annoying people issues which lower productivity all the while making every step feel like a total guilty pleasure.

And when she’s not speaking, or coaching you can find her indulging in cooking, chasing squirrels out of her garden and helping the medical community provide better care to her fabulous mom.

20 years ago, Denise traveled the world interviewing, observing and studying the best practices in leadership, social connections – now called workplace engagement and how to bring it all together to drive revenue for a variety of business sectors.

She’s worked for various organizations like retail, IT, service, labor unions, non-profits, call centers, oil/gas exploration and distribution before starting her coaching and consulting business which offers Remarkable Leadership Lessons to her clients and client organizations.

Meet Denise Cooper and get ready to learn what it takes to become the person … the leader… the value creator … you are destined to become.
