Welcome to SHRM Jacksonville!

January 11, 2018 - Chapter Meeting

Juggling HR Programs to Achieve Superior Business Metric Performance

Program Description

The frantic pace of 21st century business life requires us all to become jugglers.  We must constantly keep many balls in the air in order to manage our projects, delight our internal and external clients, and stay abreast of new developments.  World champion juggler and innovation expert, Len Ferman, will teach you how to juggle (literally!), while also demonstrating how you can leverage the business innovation process to evaluate and create new and better HR programs.

In this program you will learn how the business innovation process can be applied to develop the overall business plan in addition to HR programs that will meet or exceed your business metric goals.  Len Ferman is the former head of ideation at Bank of America, and an adjunct professor at the University of North Florida where he teaches business innovations courses that he created.  Len will teach how business innovation is not just for evaluating & developing new products and services, but applies equally well to the development of internal processes and programs.  In this extended, two hour, session, members will also have the chance to practice some of the creative techniques that Len teaches and solve for actual HR business metric issues.

Len will reinforce each key point in the presentation via his unique style in which everyone is on their feet learning to juggle. Session attendees will use specially designed juggling scarves that enable anyone to easily learn.  And learning to juggle is fun and easier than you think, really!

This session will offer something for every SHRM member.  Come learn valuable and actionable skills for the office and for after work parties, all in 120 minutes!

Learning Objectives:

Learn to:
